At the Airport Veterinary Clinic, we feel that it is important for our clients to understand our feelings about what we do in our practice, and what motivates us. In fact, our number one priority is to show our patients and their owners the utmost respect and compassion.
Veterinary medicine has certainly changed dramatically in the past few years. Technology, coupled with new procedures and heightened public credibility has enabled veterinary medicine to provide a new, higher level of health care to our patients.
We believe that how we treat each animal in our care is a major factor in cultivating client trust and confidence. Therefore, we have made it our responsibility and objective to create an environment where trust can grow. The most important aspect of our job is centered on providing quality medical care to our patients, as well as education, respect, and compassion to their human companions.
Working with animals takes special perspective and skill. Above all else, each member of our staff keeps the welfare of our patients at heart. We begin with concern and empathy for our non-human friends. With time, our knowledge and skill increases, and although the job is sometimes dirty and smelly, these stresses are outweighed by the good that is accomplished as we improve the lives of our patients.
We realize that it is impossible to save every animal that comes to us for care, but we promise to always put forth our best effort. Despite the harsh realities that surround the profession, we believe that there are rewards for what we do, and these rewards are easier to appreciate when we focus on our primary objective: to provide the very best veterinary care we can every day for every animal.
Through efficiency, thoroughness, and open, friendly, honest communication, we will ensure that each client is treated with respect and understanding so that each pet will receive optimal veterinary care. We strive for each pet owner to leave our Clinic feeling cared for, educated, and important.
